Emeraude Toubia

Emeraude Toubia is a native of Canada and is best known to Canadians because of her character as an Canadian actor on the Freeform fantasy series Shadowhunters. In addition, she was a part of in Venevision television series Cosita linda and Voltea and a'que te is enthralled. Additionally, she dances and is also a model. Montreal born, she spent her early years in Texas. Since she was a child she was trained in various dance forms. As a 15-year-old was when she began competing in beauty contests. In 1999, she made her first on-screen appearance in Televisa's children's program El Mundo de los Ninos. Toubia rose to fame when she made her debut in 2008 as a contestant in Nuestra Belleza Latina season two of Univision's beauty competition. Toubia began her acting career in 2010 in a role as a receptionist in an Telemundo episode. In 2015 she starred in her debut feature film, the action-drama Tattooed Love.
